1 GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
All services provided by Laavu Nordic to the buyer are subject to the following terms and conditions, unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing between the parties. Any special terms indicated by the buyer in orders, emails, or other messages are not considered deviations from the following terms unless Laavu Nordic has explicitly accepted them in writing.

Laavu Nordic reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. In the case of significant changes, we strive to provide a minimum of 14 days of notice before the new terms take effect.

We disclaim any typographical errors, pricing errors, and potential changes in VAT and other taxes.

PAYMENT TERMS
All our prices are quoted in Danish krona (DKK) and include VAT unless otherwise stated. Payment can be made in cash, via bank transfer, or by credit card (Visa, Mastercard) and MobilePay. Purchases by credit card are conducted through a secure and encrypted connection.

In some cases, it is possible to purchase services on instalments without additional costs. Such cases will be specified in the individual order or by special agreement with Laavu Nordic. If agreed payment deadlines are exceeded, interest will be charged according to the provisions of The Danish Interest Act.

VALIDITY PERIOD OF ONLINE COURSES
The buyer has access to the purchased online course for 6 months, unless otherwise stated. During this validity period, the buyer has access to the learning platform as well as the offered online sessions mentioned in the course description.

CANCELLATION OF LIVE SESSIONS
In the event of the instructor’s illness, we offer a replacement session, which is announced at least 30 days in advance or by agreement with all participants in the group.

In case the buyer is unable to attend the replacement session, it is not possible to get a refund of the paid amount.

In cases of unsufficient amount registrations or unforeseen private circumstances, we reserve the right to cancel planned activities.

In case of cancellation,the buyer has possibility to transfer the course enrollment to another course or workshop with available spots.

Alternatively, the buyer can get a full refund of the course fee if it cannot be guaranteed that the cancelled course or workshop will be held at a later date.

2 CANCELLATION POLICY FOR PURCHASE OF COURSES, WORKSHOPS AND DIGITAL PRODUCTS

LOSS OF RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
Courses and digital products are not covered by the Danish Consumer Agreement, section 18, paragraph 2 legislation on the right of withdrawal.

Therefore, purchases of online teaching, access to the learning platform, and other digital products on laavu.online are binding, as creating digital user access to online classes and the learning platform, including other digital products, constitutes consent for Laavu Nordic to begin delivering the service.

The buyer should not expect that the paid course fee for registration or purchase of online teaching, access to the learning platform and other digital products can be refunded due to buyer’s illness or other circumstances preventing participation.

However, we do offer the possibility to transfer your registration for online teaching to another person by notifying us no later than 7 days before the scheduled start date. This transfer may not be sold at a higher price than it was purchased.

Alternatively, the buyer also has the option to change to another upcoming course or workshop once by agreement, with a start date within 12 months from the purchase date, provided there are available spots in the desired group.

Transfers to another person or group changes occur by written agreement with Laavu Nordic.

CANCELLATION OF 1:1 LIVE SESSIONS
Cancellations for live sessions booked and paid for by the buyer must be made in writing at least 6 hours before the session’s scheduled start time.

In case of missing cancellation and no-show less than 6 hours before the session’s scheduled start time, a no-show fee of DKK 350.00 will be charged.

3 CANCELLATION POLICY FOR PURCHASE OF PHYSICAL PRODUCTS

RETURN RIGHTS FOR PRINTED BOOKS AND OTHER PHYSICAL PRODUCTS
Printed books and other physical products can be returned and exchanged provided the item is delivered in a damaged or defective condition without charge for repeated delivery according to The Danish Consumer Contrats Act, section 19.

The Danish Sale of Goods Act’s defect rules apply to purchases of printed books and other physical products with a 24-month warranty from the purchase date.

The buyer has the right to have the item repaired, exchanged, refunded or receive a price reduction, depending on the specific situation. It is required that the complaint is justified and that the defect has not occurred due to incorrect use of the item or other damaging behaviour.

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL FOR PRINTED BOOKS AND OTHER PHYSICAL PRODUCTS

The buyer has a 14-day right of withdrawal which expires 14 days after the day the buyer receives the order. If the buyer has ordered several items in one order, which are delivered individually, the period runs from the day you receive the last item.

The buyer must notify Laavu Nordic no later than 14 days from receiving the item that the buyer wants to withdraw from the purchase.

The buyer can do this by sending an email to Laavu Nordic. Please note that the buyer cannot withdraw from the purchase by refusing to receive the item without notifying us at the same time and that the buyer will not get the shipping costs refunded when withdrawing from the purchase.

RETURN POLICY
When you have notified us that you wish to withdraw from your purchase, you have 14 days to return the item to us. You must bear the cost of returning the package yourself, and you are responsible if damage occurs during transport.

If the item has lost value, and this is due to the buyer’s use of it in a way other than what was necessary to determine the item’s nature, properties and the way it works, the buyer can only get part of the purchase amount back.

The amount the buyer has the right get back depends on the item’s commercial value.

We refund the purchase using the same payment method you used for the purchase.

COMPLAINTS
Complaints must be made within a reasonable time after the defect is discovered. For complaints within 60 days from the purchase date, the complaint will always be timely.

The buyer bears the direct costs associated with returning the item.

All inquiries regarding complaints, returns, exchanges or refunds should be directed to Laavu Nordic.

4 DELIVERY TERMS FOR PURCHASE OF PHYSICAL GOODS

The delivery time is normally up to 3–5 business days when purchasing physical goods. Laavu Nordic uses GLS and Coolrunner as delivery providers.

DELIVERY TERMS FOR DIGITAL PRODUCTS
Digital products are delivered online via email, often immediately after purchase or shortly thereafter within 24 hours.

In case of non-delivery of products, the buyer should contact Laavu Nordic.

Laavu Nordic has no obligation to ensure the perpetual availability of products.

All products are purchased and intended solely for private use. The buyer is responsible for downloading available material and updating email and other relevant contact information.

Laavu Nordic cannot be held responsible for emails not received by the buyer.

When participating in live online sessions, it is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that the computer and internet connection used can receive online teaching with sufficient audio and video quality. The same applies to pre-recorded video content and audio material.

5 COPYRIGHT, COPYRIGHT AND USER RIGHTS
All rights to teaching materials and services belong to Laavu Nordic and associated brands.When purchasing a licence, you only gain access to use the purchased teaching material or service as specified under the relevant purchase.Laavu Nordic holds copyright to all course materials and other products and services made available to the buyer. The buyer gets full access and usage rights to all content, templates, and handouts on the learning platform.

THE MATERIAL IS INTENDED SOLELY FOR THE BUYER’S PERSONAL USE AND MAY NOT BE COPIED, REPRODUCED, SCANNED, PHOTOGRAPHED, DISTRIBUTED, TRANSFERRED, SHARED WITH OTHERS, OR USED IN ANY FORM OF TEACHING BY THIRD PARTIES.

The buyer is defined as the individual or business that purchased access to the service. Therefore, the user right is strictly personal.

If access to the service is acquired by a business, the user right to the service will only apply to the person designated as the contact person for the business upon acquisition.

It is not allowed for individuals or businesses to redistribute content or grant access to other persons such as family members, friends, acquaintances, employees, or business co-owners, as this is considered a breach of our terms and conditions.

If an individual or business wishes to grant multiple persons access to the service, they should contact info@laavu.online.

If an individual or business has redistributed content and access without prior obtaining an offer for multiple accesses, this is considered a breach of our terms and conditions, and Laavu Nordic reserves the right to invoice the person or business for the number of licences and accesses used during the period.

When purchasing teaching materials from Laavu Nordic, the buyer does not commit to displaying, sharing, or redistributing content and materials to individuals who have not purchased the course.

In case of a breach of our terms and conditions, a compensation claim will be made if the course has been illegally shared, copied or in other way illegally misused.

The buyer, is allowed to electronically download and store handouts associated with the course and is permitted to print these handouts for private use.

THE BUYER IS UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES ENTITLED TO TRANSFER OR REDISTRIBUTE OTHER DIGITAL AND PRINTED PRODUCTS INCLUDING THE LEARNING PLATFORM’S DOCUMENTS, CONTENT, AUDIO FILES, TEMPLATES, OR VIDEO TO OTHER PARTIES ON THE INTERNET IN ANOTHER ELECTRONIC FORM OR IN PRINTED VERSIONS WITHOUT WRITTEN PERMISSION FROM LAAVU NORDIC.

 

6 FORCE MAJEURE
Force majeure is defined as war, epidemics and pandemics, civil war, rebellion, public restrictions, import or export bans, natural disasters including but not limited to earthquakes, storm surges, extensive flooding, tornadoes, as well as widespread labor disputes, fires, or similar events that could not have been foreseen by Laavu Nordic at the time of the sale of the respective teaching.

In the event of force majeure, we reserve the right to reschedule or relocate all courses, workshops, etc., in whole or in part, without notice. Events with planned physical attendance will be moved to a new start date and may be conducted online as much as possible within the originally scheduled timeframe.

7 CONFIDENTIALITY
All participants in our online teaching are subject to confidentiality. Confidentiality applies both in-person and online sessions and means that participants must not share personal information about other participants.

8 COMPLAINTS POLICY
Laavu Nordic strives to ensure fair treatment of any complaint and to resolve any complaints in a timely and fair manner.Buyer has the right to file a complaint regarding our teaching. All complaints will be handled confidentially and to the best of our ability. All involved parties should initially try to resolve the conflict directly with the relevant instructor or participant. If the issue cannot be resolved internally, the buyer can submit a written complaint to info@laavu.online within 7 days, after which we will try to resolve the issue together with the involved parties.

9 DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
Laavu Nordic cannot be held liable for anything related to the sale of digital and printed teaching materials and services via our learning platform beyond what is required by applicable law.

Laavu Nordic cannot be held directly or indirectly liable for any decisions made by the buyer, including difficulties or damages that may result from improper use of information or content from videos, audio files, templates, handouts, or any other content from digital and printed teaching materials available on our learning platform and associated social media.

Participation in teaching, workshops, and other course activities does not guarantee that the participant will achieve the desired progress and learning objectives for the respective instruction, as language learning largely depends on active participation in teaching and the participant’s individual ability to learn a foreign language.
